Tips to teach a child to say "thank you"

In our everyday language we have many "magic" words, love, tenderness, compassion, please, and of course the word thanks. As parents we often forget to say it to our children and therefore they do not learn, if we do not teach our children the power of thanks, never expecting them to tell us "Thanks mom for food". It is very important that our children learn to say "thank you" and to repeat it and say every day.
Tips to teach a child to say "thank you"


Thank someone comes from the heart. Although this little word encompasses our appreciation, we can teach our children to go beyond "saying" thanks to its shares or more creatively.

Creative ways to say "thank you"


Hugs and kisses

If we preschoolers, a good way to teach them to be grateful is through hugs and kisses. To teach our little ones will need to give them lots of hugs and kisses each time they have done a good deed, accompanied of course our magic word.

I teach it to say thank you in other languages

For young children is much more fun to learn new words, research and practice your skills as a bilingual teacher and have fun with your little learning to say thank you in different languages, and fun this activity to teach her to say "thanks" creatively .

Thanx before and after meals

In many homes is customary grace before and after meals at lunchtime, this is an excellent formula for us as parents, we teach the great power that has to be grateful for the food they will eat that day.

Each child uses a different language

Many children are shy and introverted than others, some like to hug and kisses fill their parents and others prefer to thank you for everything you have done for them otherwise, for example, performing household cleaning, or paintings, letters and drawings. Discover the language of your little and learn to value their way of saying thank you.

No doubt the magic word "thank you" is very important in the lives of all children, instill in them a noble and grateful spirit that tomorrow the excellent return humans.
